Tanakago - fear of death

The fear of death of the immortals is not like that of mortals. Death rates amongst those that have been treated with the Secret is almost null. Medicine having dealt with all deathly diseases and having the possibility to hibernate until remedies are found for new onew, the so-called immortals live in the illusion that they will live forever. They are therefore extremely risk averse, safety in their means of transportation and their lodgings is of paramount importance. They will never do a risky job or take up adventure sports. 

Among the immortals, the librons are those who least experience this feeling. They are also the people amongst which Takanako is less frequent.
