“When Dr. João Koch Watanabe completed his PhD in Berkeley University, he had never though he would one day become immortal”. With this line starts the history of “Foreverness”. However, Watanabe´s pursuit of eternity starts immediately after.
Watanabe leads the way into the field of immortality. He will become the oldest of the humans and a moral reference for most of them. The wanabites will follow his creed and worship him, very much against his desires and modesty.
He is an intelligent and endearing character who will become pivotal in certain events of the history of the Helians and the Lacteans.
