“LET ME PAINT YOU” premiere in the big screen
On Saturday May 30th at the Gaiety Theatre, Wairoa, New Zealand, “Let me paint you” shortfilm will be exhibited as part of NATIVE NOIR SHORTS in the Wairoa Māori Film Festival 2026 where it has been selected in the non Māori section.
This is the first festival where the latest Film from the Tantú factory, finalised in January 2026, will be exhibited in a public theater. The short has been submitted to multiple festivals, nationally (NZ) and internationally, and we hope that in the next twelve months it will be seen in a few more places. After all the hard work, getting the film to be seen is the greatest reward. Most festivals exclude short films openly shown in the internet from their programme, so, until the distribution phase is completed we can only share with you the trailer.
